In 2018, the National Dialogue for Healthcare Innovation focused on the nation’s opioid crisis, bringing together leaders from healthcare, government, business, academia, and the patient advisory community to build consensus around bold, achievable solutions that will save lives and strengthen communities. Participants in the Opioid Solutions Summit engaged in in-depth work on areas such as opioid care management, use of technology and data analytics, and therapeutic innovation. They developed recommended actions for Congress, regulatory entities, and private sector healthcare leaders. Work is ongoing to implement the multiple components of A Roadmap for Action.
